The Honda CR-V and the Toyota Rav 4 were both introduced two decades ago and have made big impressions on customers of all ages with their distinctive looks. While the Rav4's exterior design stands out with a three-door or five-door design, the Honda CR-V has a sporty look that goes ahead of its time.

Being more powerful than the previous generation’s, the RAV4 engine can reach up to 203 horsepower with 243 Nm of torque. RAV-4’s Eco mode does not give out a maximum speed but can reduce fuel consumption effectively, while the Sport mode can excellently exert the engine’s power.
On the other hand, the CR-V uses a 1.6-liter N16 i-DTEC four turbocharged diesel engine. The engine's 118 bhp capacity is smaller than that of the RAV4, but it can reach 300 Nm of power, so it is also greater compared to the RAV4’s.
Although the power is not as excellent as the RAV4, the CR-V still offers a comfortable, quiet, and stable ride for commuters.
In terms of fuel economy, the average fuel consumption of the Honda CR-V is 17 km/L. On the other hand, the Toyota RAV4 achieves 7.6 km/L consumption in city traffic and 12 km/L on the highway.

Both crossovers have basic safety systems with airbags, anti-lock brakes, and parking sensor systems. However, Honda has decided to outpace its rival with lots of outstanding features.
