RFID sticker LTO is often neglected by most people. If you are one of them, today, in this article, we will walk you through all about RFID sticker LTO and its benefits.

These days, the traffic is getting more and more crowded with thousands of different vehicles transporting places to places every single day, making controlling them seems impossible. But Thankfully, scientists have developed an advanced system to keep things under control: the RFID sticker LTO. If you are new to this, keep reading to find out more about its advantages and installation. Let's dive right in!

1. RFID sticker LTO - What is its purposes?

In 2009, The Land Transportation Office put into operation the Radio Frequency Identification System or RFID. The government organization claimed that this small piece of the sticker is used to identify vehicles by giving them a unique I.D. code.

It does this by using radio frequency identification, which is a technology that uses radio waves to identify and track identification tags attached to objects automatically.

In other words, RFID is a remote radio identification technique that allows data on a chip to be read "contactless" over a radio wave path at distances of between 50 cm and 10 meters. It is much more beneficial compared to the traditional barcodes or Q.R. codes.

After more than ten years of development, scientists now invented handheld devices to read RFID sticker LTO. This outstanding technology comes in really maneuverable for enforcement to control all vehicles on the street without complex systems.

2. RFID sticker LTO- How to install?

Install properly is a crucial point when it comes to the effectiveness of the RFID sticker. It would be best if you stuck the RFID sticker behind your rear-view mirror or your front glass. This position will let it be read easily by the scanners and prevent the sticker from obstructing your sight.

First off, make sure that the position you are going to install the RFID sticker to is clean and dry. It would be best if the front window has no sun-block film or tint applied. If there is, measure the sticker and then use a sharp paper-knife to cut out the window film.

Then, slowly and gently remove the holographic layer from the paper liner. Use your index finger, apply the holographic label from the center of the label to the edges onto the windshield, sliding your finger from top to bottom, and from left to right to ensure it is secured.

There are a few precautions that you should always keep in mind. Do not try to remove your holographic label once it has been stuck to the windshield. Doing so will destroy it, and there is no way to save it!

Last but not least is that you have to handle it with carefulness. This holographic label is part of your vehicle's identification, which contains a sensitive RFID electronic device. Therefore, folding it or scratching it will ruin the codes, and the RFID sticker will become useless. Another thing to keep in mind is that you have to double-check the orientation of the sticker; you definitely don't want to place it upside down and make it completely unusable.

3. RFID sticker LTO - What are the benefits?

Nowadays, with RFID technology's support, a lot of human work has been reduced and replaced by a system of equipment that brings better efficiency and quality. This technology gives every vehicle its own identity; therefore, city authorities can now monitor both personal cars and public transportation in a broader and more efficient method.

In several developed countries, RFID technology automatically collects traffic charges on the freeway or highway. With frequencies of 900 Mhz and 2.45 GHz, RFID tags are mounted directly on the vehicle; the card reader will be mounted at the station. Accordingly, when a car passes through the reader, it can be identified and immediately deducted the fee. This method solves traffic jams at mega metropolitans, helps to avoid loss of toll costs, and minimizes the human resources needed.

Warehouse management and distribution have become more accessible than ever, thanks to RFID technology. RFID can be attached to locomotives, train carriages, or RFID used to maintain aircraft and identify luggage and goods. Postal companies can use them to monitor items shipped internationally between international postal centers. They can observe the delivery time of items with RFID tags, which helps manage and solve problems quickly and economically.

Another important use of RFID tags in traffic is identifying vehicle management in parking lots. RFID is currently being used in smart parking lots to control vehicles, combined with magnetic ring detectors, to help the smart parking lot operate effectively. And by giving a precise identity for each transportation, car thieves can be tracked down when police can use the camera system to look for that exact lost car.

Finally, the New York State Department traffic professional now uses the RFID system to study the daily flow of vehicles on the street and understand more about drivers behaviors. From that, they can design more advanced traffic infrastructure to solve the traffic jam problems in big cities.

4. RFID sticker LTO - In Sum

For the past few years, RFID technology is becoming more and more popular in shops, parking lots, libraries, and especially in traffic management. Since the RFID technology, the management team's work has been reduced significantly; and safety has been improved. It brings us a more smart, advanced way to control the vehicles on the street and solve some difficult traffic problems in major urban areas.

Philtoyota.com hopes that you are now equipped with enough information about the purpose of RFID sticker LTO to put it and how to install it. Thank you for reading this article, and don't forget to share this with your friends and families so that they can understand more about this new incredible technology.
