It will be classics in 10 years when cars or SUVs like this simply cannot exist. Both are beautiful in their own right but the FJ40 is better because it was designed for its sake.

The Jimny interior is a typical 1990s design, simple and sturdy and of high quality. The FJ Cruiser has an interior that matches its vintage style for a luxurious look but features all the latest technology with a deliberate choice to have levers, large dials, buttons, and no carpet. The enticing system looks very aftermarket but has all the features you need these days including Bluetooth phone, music steering wheel controls, and GPS. That said if it doesn't have the head unit, it would be a more basic equipment list. Suzuki Jimny interior dimensions are small compared to FJ. Both are not luxurious interiors but nice and basic to look at.

The FJ has more safety technology, off-road technology including the latest off-road traction control system, and a powerful engine to go with it. That said it weighs almost 2 Jimny's. The Jimny specs, on the other hand, is a basic commuter vehicle with minimal safety and entertainment systems. Its 4WD system is basically based on durability and size to go many places.

The FJ Cruiser is a better 4WD or SUV on or off-road but it's more than double the Jimny is by all means the price and the best choice if you want to go off-road and fly long-haul. With the price of Jimny and Toyota FJ Cruiser price Philippines, Jimny wins if you have no money and want a shortcut and don't have to travel too far to get there.
